Ok so previously on Heavy Spoilers we were covering Rick and Morty Season 6 every week. However there was a bit of a break but we’re back with episode 7. Packed with easter eggs, callbacks and little details, this breakdown is gonna be going through it all to bring you a big review of the latest entry.

Titled Full Meta Jackrick this title is of course a nod to Stanley Kubricks Full Metal Jacket.

The episode starts off in the style of a previously on recap which is used to great effect to not only fill in the gap but also set up the premise of the episode. Early on Rick and Morty find themselves trapped in a previously on segment and the intro follows them as they break through it and the title sequence. It’s the most creative opening I’ve seen for a Rick and Morty episode and it’s so well put together chronicling the events of this season whilst adding some new stuff.

We start off with a clip from Bethic Twinstinct with Space Beth admitting she had sex with Beth.

Next week cut to episode 6 after Rick fixed the portal gun. Now from this point we see a new sequence which was added to the titles and it shows Rick and Morty meeting Jack The Ripper. You can see that he’s just carried out one of his killings because of the feet we can see in the bottom corner. This is something that’s only been used in the title sequence and at first I genuinely questioned whether I’d missed an episode.

#HeavySpoilersFallingOff as always and they end up passing through this scene later on when they invade the titles.

We then get Summer announcing

(I’m pregnant) and this happens at her 18th Birthday.

We learn the same thing happened with beth as well and then cut to it raining meatballs.

Clear reference to the movie cloudy with a chance of meatballs and before Rick can fully work out what’s happening we’re transported to Jerrys funeral.

We learn that he died whilst getting stung by bees.

Not the bees.

Sorry wrong channel and this is a reference to My Girl namely how McCalley Culkins character Thomas died.

Spoiler alert

Later on in a Green Mile-esque public execution scene we see Beth is the one who’s been sentenced to death for being a suspect that killed Jerry.

I think Jerrys funeral was swapped in to try and throw Rick off but he’s still suspicious. Also Summer is heavily pregnant at this point and she vows to call the baby Jerry Junior.

  1. You didn’t notice a few things

That’s not the real Jesus it’s the toy Jesus hence his change of character

Also Mary Magdolyn is believed to be Jesus wife

Tho it’s unsure if she was a prostitute or if it was fake news to smear here

Some say she is the true meaning of the church etc etc

Also it’s believe to be she was Barron

Other say she gave birth to A daughter named Sarah

Also when Rick pulls out the butter bot

He also said butter morty was the best episode connecting those two things

    Along with purpose of life

Hence religion cause we all want to find purpose and meaning

    And even motivation

    Morty gets married to Rick
Even tho some theories Rick is Morty from the future long long long story behind that theory which seems to be more the case with the citizen episode ricks hatred of time travel

Rick prime being Mortys original grandpa

And just the over all talk morty joke

The irony of story lord tickets please guy is he is sort of becoming like mr nimbus

We don’t know really either of their backstories

Yet the implication is they are sort of like Moriarties to ricks Sherlock Holmes

Which we see in the opening credits with the Jack the Ripper cameo

Also some claim jack the ripper was a vampire or were wolf

Which later ties to dracula fighting toy Jesus

Morty being pregnant is impossible because two men cant make a baby but it’s a reference to the fact sooo many people want Rick and morty to be in a homo relationship

You could say the twist was also the orange

Because when’s character speaks low to the point you can not make it out it sounds like orange

Rick prime is essentially the one true Villian evil morty mr nimbus story lord Dracula Jack the Ripper all want to be to Rick

The one that’s always ahead outsmarting you

    Just outside your grasp

    Reply
  2. An I crazy? Cause I thought the tickets please guy was not story lord. Story Lord was his own character in the train episode right?

  3. Rickleberry tales could be nod to Canterbury tales a middle age book filled with stories or a failed crossover with brickleberry

  4. Now I want a show about this, not of Jesus but of an immortal living through history battling supernatural forces.
