  1. Such a good chapter IMO. The character design is pretty cool and strange, Robin being emotional, and just future conversations between Vegapunk and Luffy will be great. It is also insane how much of real history or "theories" Oda incorporates into the story. I cant get enough!!!

  2. Ok here’s a CRAZY idea.. because we ALL assume that Imu-Sama is a guy.. in the same way we assumed “Kaidos Son” was gonna be a boy.

What if Imu-sama turns out to be Luffys mom?!? Whether she had used tech to change her voice or appearance (we still know neither) which makes everyone THINK she is a King and not a Queen (see what I did?)

For me this could explain even more of Dragons resolve. It could litterally be two parents having the biggest fued ever seen in anime lol

  3. I just noticed kid is confirmed supreme kings Haki , kaido said it after he knocked luffy out the first time.. thought he was talking about luffy but after rewatching w the knowledge that kid is locked up in udon already at that point then kaido was forsure talkin about kid having supreme kings Haki

  4. Vegapunk says if he can recreate a ‘sun’ he’d have endless energy. Presumably, everything he has done has been in pursuit of Ancient Kingdom technology. Why would he be specifically inspired/interested in creating a ‘sun’? Thinking about the endless daylight at Enies Lobby and the brilliant light in the Flower Room at Mariejois, I wonder if this is really a trophy: the Ancient Kingdom’s endless power source stolen by Imu and the 20 kings 800 years ago. Perhaps this power source is the national treasure at Mariejois, or somehow otherwise connected

  5. Everything that people complained about in Naruto is far worse in One Piece. I'm not against saul being alive because I always thought Aokiji killing saul who was supposed to be his friend was out of character and weird. It just confused me all the way up until now I've had my eyebrows scrunched until now.

I think this incident is what led to the punk hazard fight between the two admirals.

  6. İ think that's a hint to dragon is not garps son. Meaning dragon daughter married him. That makes sense. Maybe he wanted to get connected to one inside marines. So he married garps daughter to get more info about garp.

  7. I was extremely high after reading this chapter and I came up with a theory that might be worth looking into. What if the 20 rebelling kingdoms used some sort of weapon to turn the D clan members into the devil fruits. The D stands for devil and the D members are the actual devils who reside in the devil fruits. This is why Zunesha recognized Luffy's awakening in wano and mistook him for Joyboy. This is why the world government knew what fruit was the sun god fruit and guarded it, and also why some devil fruits have their own will.

  8. I love that Saul is still alive. When I first saw that scene of his "death" I suspected that he was still alive, because he was frozen. But Oda took so long to bring him back that I assumed he must be d by now. I assume Saul is also a part of Sword, if not a founder.

  9. Is this really the real vegapunk because the one talking to dragon looks a lot different. I'm not going to be shocked if it's just another clone of vegapunk and the real one is about to die like he told dragon. Oda is going to have to tell us what happened to vegapunk head if that's the real one. Great video

  10. ? Thought???? I believe Saul is literally the man marked by fire think about it he was frozen how else could he escape out of the ice?? with help from the Giants.

  11. I think the mark on dragons face is more to do with the ancient kingdom not a devil fruit, which is why they call him the most dangerous man

  12. ODA is writing OP as a tale of this world. There were giants in our past as well as a pre-deluge civilization that was more advanced than what our current civilization is capable of (ie megaliths, zero point energy, etc). The world powers have supressed all information about these topics as well. It would be interesting to talk to Oda about this.

  13. Definitely one of my favorite chapters of all time. Ohara's story resonated with me and I always remembered that the scholars threw the books into the water as a final desperate meassure to save the knowledge. Everything that happens afterwards makes sense since we know Aokiji to be a big softie and the marines to be incompetent.

  14. If you remember when the gorosei made that call to destroy O'Hara account for their facial reactions, if I recall correctly I remember 1 man has his hand over his face like he was disappointed it had to come to that.

  15. This chapter reconfirmed for me what Doflamingo said at Marineford: History is written by the winners/victors. And you see that quote in other forms of media too, such as "The Da Vinci Code". It's not a new concept by any means.

Having read the chapter, it makes me way more curious about Kuzan and his brand of justice, it more or less explains why CP0 is out to murder Vegapunk, and now I want to know even more about Kuma.

My theory for an upcoming chapter with Shaka's half of the Straw Hat crew is we're finally going to learn how Devil Fruits work.

  16. imagine Luffy has no biological mother and Vegapunk took Dragon’s DNA and as you said, “planted the seed”, maybe that seed is Luffy.
