  1. In my opinion both plots are good. The 1st being the better story. However you can't get too invested in either. There simply wasn't enough time. So it feels rushed. The 2nd one was just a complete dumpster fire🔥

  2. Another thing I didn't understand was, why did they had to kill someone for blood every single time?! Instead they could have drained them from time to time without killing…

  3. I wonder if you can make a connection and say when the aliens talk about destroying the humans they did it to where that one lady can make those pills and to make everybody become zombies kind of thing. And now that at the end of that segment it was showing how more and more people are taking it so in a sense humans going to destroy themselves and then the aliens going to take over after that just a thought

  4. Why did the Chemist agreed to give the Pills too Ursula when she wanted to keep things quiet? Where did she go at the ending of Red Tide? Did the Government called her to pull back on the project? Will the Government kill her and the others? What happened to L.A. after the Plas invasion or Blood Bath? (Whatever sounds cooler) Did any of the students bot get affected? If so, who's to say not a single one will rat her out?

  5. some of these had answers in the show, and hopefully some holes will be filled in later seasons. im hoping that they went with two intentionally medicore seasons to lower expectations, and at the same time "just to get something out there". in the middle of the pandemic.

  6. I will always have a special place in my heart for the first five episodes of Red Tide, but really i'm done with AHS, there's no more love in this show

  7. Well… way to make me feel ashamed about my own conclusions 😀 But I never was one to go particularly after plotholes or recognising them at all… nice vid…

  8. why did you think telling alma she couldn't have any more pills would result in anything other than you getting gangked by a child?

  9. The connections are there! Why do the aliens abduct Americans? Because American audience. More importantly, the thing about Provincetown being the landing site of the first Americans, is that the Americans were the first invaders. This could tie into the Roanoke season heavily, I haven't thought to look for connections; but that could explain why they didn't go with the flashbacks. I rewatched Double Feature a few times and noted parallels within the dialogue, but the only joke I remember being repeated was 10" dick: First with the snuff porn couple, then the scene introducing the 4 friends who got knocked up. I know that other lines were repeated, 10" dick is the only one I can remember rn.

There are themes of technology and nature going on. In 1st episode the ominous fox was probably killed by a pasty guy, but the fam assumes it's roadkill. Alma shows how dark and demented she is before the story even starts by remarking on which animals are worth mourning, I think she mentions cats? That's possibly to contrast with Holden saying he's sad about a dead dog that possibly doesn't exist because acting like a normal person throws the scent off of his involvement with the black pill situation. Then the 4 highly privileged kids come across mutilated cows, most likely the work of aliens/UFOs. MA is cold as shit, but like they mention about tourism it's lovely in the summer. I live somewhere that's also cold as shit, and can confirm that there's nothing to do over the dark days but experiment with drugs and creative projects. NM (or was it NV? Sorry, I'm Canadian, eh? And you kept referencing Breaking Bad 😅) is hot and dry, and I'm sure that it's beautiful year round. When life gives you robots, fuck a robot.

Anyways, technology and nature are minor themes, the biggest theme is superiority. "There's people like us, with talent; and there's everyone else. We matter, they don't." Thanks, Alma. It's not just intellectual or class superiority, but TB Karen feels morally superior to the bloodsuckers and their enablers. Then the aliens are trying to create a hybrid that's superior to humans so that they can continue to exist. The aliens are also really stupid and never learn (or maybe just acknowledge) that humans were always superior. We learn in the final episode that the perfect specimen will be identified through a physical examination. They don't have to run any tests, they know by just looking. If they're so smart, why did they put these humans through full term pregnancies? No one ever said "hey aliens, ever heard of ultrasound? Aborting horror murder babies? It doesn't have to be like this?" Also finding out that they could accelerate the gestation all along and not take 100 years to get the miracle baby? The aliens are both stupid and assholes.

Maybe this is an Easter egg, maybe not: when Liberace died, he arranged to have the cause of death on his certificate to say heart failure. That didn't last long, we all knew that he died from complications from AIDS. Mrs Eisenhower also opted for heart failure (if I recall correctly) on her certificate. Falsifying information on death records seems to be an exceptionally rare occurrence, and AHS loves gay history, so maybe. Also worth noting that Liberace's Las Vegas mansion is legitimately haunted by Lee himself! There's reports of pianos playing themselves (besides the player pianos lol) and sometimes someone catches a whiff of cigarette smoke, even though the site is strictly a no smoking zone. I just really like the idea of the ghost of Liberace having an influence on this season as he was a massive asshole and not exceptionally talented, but he was superior to all other entertainers as Mr. Showmanship. Too bad Kathy Bates wasn't in this season. One of her best roles was a nice lady in a snowy little town who was obsessed with Liberace.. and a writer.

  10. Great videos! I also wondered: Why do the pale ones spontaneously get sharp teeth while the creative ones need a procedure being done?

  11. Yeah, I thought it was a little bit strange when they left Alma with that weirdo. I was like "Um…. Doesn't anyone else see what's wrong with this?" Lmao.

  12. They never explained what made the babies perfect either. How did Theta know they were perfect? Is it some kind of physical trait? If so, there were many babies that looked similar to the perfect baby, but they killed them anyways. Are they supposed to look just like humans to be perfect? That last one still had huge eyes and a pointy head, yet it’s still perfect? Red Tide was okay, and it’s ending was meh, but Death Valley was terrible all the way through.

  13. Why was there no police investigation after that person from the state came.
Why does every person that takes the black pill have such horrible fashion taste

  14. Alma was being homeschooled they said that in the dialog.

But more importantly: WHY DIDN'T THEY REFERENCE OR ACKNOWLEDGE THE ALIENS FROM SEASON 2 IN ANY WAY???!

  15. Talk about disappointment. Red Tide was going strong, and then we're thrown into Death Valley (which I thought also started strong-ish). Both story lines had potential, and I was waiting to see how they would be tied together, but the writers must be smoking crack if they thought the "conclusion" of season 10 was even fucking passable.

I can understand having an off season, but come on. The storylines were there, the characters were there, but it's as if the writers realized halfway through writing the damn thing, "Ah shit, we don't know what we're doing or how to connect these shits. Let's just not!".

I love AHS, but season 10 broke my faith. Please, for the love of God, PLEASE don't break my achy breaky heart with season 11, I just don't think he'll understand.
